Following the layoffs of afternoon hosts Rich ‘Rizzo’ Deaver and Jeff Daly a couple weeks ago, iHeartMedia has shifted Hot Talk “Radio 95.1” WAIO Honeoye Falls/Rochester NY has moved to a mix of Talk and Rock.
WAIO will continue to feature the Brother Weaze show in mornings from 6-9am and DiTullio & Dale in middays from 11am to 2pm. The syndicated Rover’s Morning Glory, which had been airing in a split 9-11am and 7-10pm slot, will now air in afternoons from 2-7pm.
In addition to Rizzo and Jeff, WAIO has dropped the delayed airing of The Bob & Tom Show from late nights, WTKS-FM Orlando’s The News Junkie in overnights and VSiN’s Sports Betting programming on weekends. In their place, the station has added the company’s national Active Rock feeds including WCHI-FM Chicago’s Klinger in nights and WEBN Cincinnati’s Shroom in overnights.
