Glades Media has merged Regional Mexican “Radio Fiesta 106.1” WLMX Okechobee/95.1 W236AO Port St. Lucie and Port St. Lucie Broadcasting’s “La Gigante 1330” WJNX Fort Pierce FL into one brand as “La Ley 106.1/95.1“.
The merger took effect on December 1. Glades owns the translator and has been operating BMZ Broadcasting’s 106.1 WLMX via Time Brokerage Agreement. WLMX has changed call letters to WJNX-FM.
WJNX/WJNX-FM becomes Glades Media’s third “La Ley” branded station in South Florida joining the West Palm Beach market focused “La Ley 99.5” WLLY-FM Palm Beach Shores and Fort Myers rimshot “La Ley 92.1/99.7” 1490 WAFZ/99.7 W259CZ and 92.1 WAFZ-FM Immokalee.
