Robert Holladay’s Florida Keys Media is selling its seven stations in two deals.
Joseph Fiorini’s Fiorini Keys Media will acquire six of the stations for $1.6 million. Fiorini will acquire CHR 92.7 WEOW Key West, Sports “97.7 The Zone” WAVK Cudjoe Key, Classic Rock 99.5 WAIL Key West, and Classic Hits “US 1” 104.1 WWUS Big Pine Key in the Key West market and “Thunder Country” 100.3 WCTH Plantation Key and Classic Rock “Sun 103.1” WFKZ Plantation Key further north around Key Largo.
Fiorini currently owns “Classic Country 104.5” 1480 WCXS/104.5 W283DB Arcadia and Conservative Talk 1530 WENG Englewood/98.1 W251CU Port Charlotte/107.5 W298AV Nokomis FL.
In what appears to be a side-car deal, Michelle Weil’s Keys Country Media LLC will acquire “Conch Country” 98.7 WCNK Key West for $200,000 all held in a promissory note. Weil’s company is registered to Fiorini’s home address.
