Cumulus Media Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX Gallatin/Nashville TN has cut its morning show down to two people as Kayla Anderson exits after two and a half years with the station.

Anderson joined Ramon Foster and Will Boling in October 2022 from WKRN-TV Nashville where she spent six years as a sports anchor, reporter, and digital contributor. She has also worked in television in Spokane, Missoula, Tucson, and Columbus OH.

She shared a statement, “First and foremost, thank you SO much to our loyal listeners, you made my time in radio here so amazing! You all are so passionate about your teams here in Middle Tennessee and I love that! Titans fans, where do I begin. You know how much I respect you all and I can’t express how much l’ve appreciated the support over the last 8 years. I’m so excited to watch this new era with Cam Ward and I’ll be following very closely! As for me, I’m gearing up for the next chapter of my book to write itself. I’ve always been a firm believer that life serves you up things at the appropriate time. God has carved out quite a path in my life so far, full of twists and turns, ups and downs. All l’ve ever known is to keep navigating it to the best of my ability. One thing I do know is nobody will dim my light. I’m not going away in the sports world folks! I will update you on what my next move is in the near future, but right now I look forward to still keeping a close eye on all the teams here and rooting for their success!
