Evening host Rob Petrillo exited Hubbard Alternative “93.3 Alt AZ” KDKB Mesa/Phoenix AZ last month after a ten year stint with the station.
Petrillo told the Arizona Republic, “The radio thing was very part-time. To be totally honest, I wasn’t even in the studio for the past two years. I was recording the shows during the day from home and everything would just get sort of synced together and made to sound live. I’ve been a full-time podcast producer for Microsoft since 2021, just doing the radio thing because it’s a hard job to leave.”
Before joining KDKB in 2016, Petrillo served as a promotions assistant and engineer for CBS Radio Phoenix and a board-op/producer for Bonneville’s 620 KTAR and 92.3 KTAR-FM.
KDKB is currently running jockless at night.
