Guaranty Broadcasting Classic Rock “Eagle 98.1” WDGL Baton Rouge has added a pair of syndicated shows to its lineup along with a new local evening show.
Premiere Networks’ The Woody Show will be heard in mornings from 6-10am filling the opening created by Richard Condon’s exit last month. The station will continue to feature local news, weather, and traffic reports from Louisiana Radio Network and WBRZ-TV during mornings.
Scotty Mac and Michelle Southern remain in middays and afternoons respectively, while Mark Adams will host “Backstage Pass” from 7-10pm weekdays moving from weekend nights. Adams takes the evening spot that had been held by Condon’s co-host Scott Robb. Chris Marler and Alondra Villarreal continue to host weekends, while the station has added Superadio Networks’ “Alice’s Attic” with Alice Cooper for Sunday nights.
Cluster Operations Manager/WDGL PD/afternoon host Michelle Southern commented, “We are recognized across the industry because this station moves the needle for our clients, our artists, and our community. We deliver real results that help businesses grow, and we do it with one of the most engaged audiences anywhere. This station has real roots here. We know our listeners. We show up. And we’re going to keep building something Louisiana can be proud of.””
