Delta Media Corporation has announced a pair of promotions at its properties in Lafayette and Lake Charles LA.
Raymond Partsch III rises from Program Director of Sports “ESPN 103.7” KLWB-FM Carencro/Lafayette and “ESPN 104.1” KLCJ Oak Grove/Lake Charles to cluster Operations Manager. Partsch will also continue to host middays on those stations.
His former co-host Dawson Eiserloh will succeed Partsch as Program Director of the two stations. Eiserloh will continue to host “The LohDown with D-Loh” from 1-3pm.
Partsch said, “It has been a pleasure to work for Delta Media Corp for the past seven years in the role of program director for KLWB-FM. During that time, we have experienced immense growth with launching our station in the Lake Charles market, becoming an affiliate for ESPN Radio, and winning LAB and LSWA awards for our on-air and website work. I am excited and humbled about receiving the opportunity to move into a new role as Operations Manager and help Delta Media Corp. reach even bigger heights in the years to come.”
Eiserloh commented, “I am honored and excited to step into the role of Program Director at ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles. Delta Media took a chance on me three years ago in a producer role with very little experience and has given me the opportunity to grow every step of the way—from producing, to hosting, to now leading the station. I’m grateful for the trust they’ve placed in me, and I look forward to building on the success of ESPN Southwest Louisiana alongside our outstanding team.”
General Manager Johnette Cochran followed, “Over the past year, I’ve watched Dawson develop into a strong leader and a trusted voice, both in our building and throughout the sports community. He has a unique ability to secure high-profile interviews, build meaningful relationships, solve problems quickly, and represent our company with professionalism. He has earned this opportunity, and I’m excited to see him lead the continued growth of our ESPN stations.”
Regarding Eiserloh, Cochran continued, “His experience in programming, broadcasting, and station operations makes him the right person to help oversee all of our radio brands. While he’ll continue to be an important part of ESPN, this promotion allows him to have a broader impact across the company. His leadership has also helped develop the next generation of talent, making this a natural step for both Ray and Delta Media.”
