Saga Communications will take over the advertising sales for the University of Florida’s Country “103.7 The Gator” WRUF-FM and Sports “ESPN Gainesville” 850 WRUF/98.1 W251CG Gainesville FL.
Saga will take over sales for the stations on September 1 in a seven year deal replacing Audacy which had managed the sales since 2012. Saga also operates “K-Country 93.7” WOGK Ocala, Classic Rock “Wind-FM” 95.5 WYND-FM Silver Springs/92.5 WNDD Alachua, and Classic Country “The Outlaw” WOGK-HD2.
The deal will also include student learning, professional development, and industry innovation, including opportunities in broadcasting, media sales, digital media, audience development, sports media, content strategy, internships, and mentorship.
