The cuts at Townsquare Media continue to come to light as ‘Big Joe’ Pesh has exited mornings at Hot AC “Mix 95.7” WLHT-FM Grand Rapids after a five year run.
Pesh joined WLHT-FM in October 2021 and was teamed with Laura Hardy from January 2022 until her exit in March. A Grand Rapids area native, Pesh previously was producer/co-host of the Morning Wake Up Call on Cumulus Country “Thunder 94.5” WTNR from 2007-2014. He has also hosted mornings at CHRs WSTO Evansville, WNOW-FM Indianapolis, and Country “Y100” KCYY San Antonio.
In a video posted to social media this morning, Pesh explained that he was let go following his show on Tuesday, August 25 as his position was eliminated. He stated that he will continue to do some of his charity initiatives in the area including his annual winter coat drive.
