98.5 WUPS 92.1 WTWS 106.9 WRIJ Morgantown Radio Disney continued the sell-off of its stations with 1560 WQEW New York going to Family Radio and The Word Network purchasing 910 WFDF Farmington Hills/Detroit. In other previously reported deals this week, Simmons Media purchased Spanish Peaks Broadcasting’s cluster in Missoula, MT and Idaho Wireless purchased Pacific Empire Broadcasting’s 102.5 KMGI and 930 KSEI Pocatello, ID.

Morgantown, WV and Southwestern Pennsylvania will be gaining a new commercial FM as Robert and Ashley Stevens’ Broadcast Communications purchases 106.9 WRIJ Masontown, PA from He’s Alive, Inc or $350,000. The purchase includes an application to convert the station to commercial operation where it will become a sister to Rock 103.1 WKVE Mount Pleasant, PA. WRIJ’s current sister 88.1 WKJL Clarksburg, WV will go to a Broadcast Communications affiliate Broadcast Educational Communications for $25,000.

Vic Michael’s Kona Coast Radio will purchase 1530 KCMN Colorado Springs from United States CP for $200,000.

Mahalo Communications is reacquiring News/Talk 620 KHNU Hilo, Country 100.7 KKOA Volcano, and Classic Hits “Lava 105.3” KBGX Keaau, HI from Mahalo Broadcasting for partial payment of the $1.3 million loan owed to the buyer. Mahalo Communications began operating the stations on November 1 via Time Brokerage Agreement.

Black Diamond Broadcast Group acquires Country “92.1 The Twister” WTWS Houghton Lake and Classic Hits 98.5 WUPS Harrison, MI from Bridge To Bridge, Inc for $1.65 million.

Lighthouse Radio Group sells Smooth Jazz “105.9 The Wave” KYSJ Coos Bay, OR to Post Rock Communications for $120,000. KYSJ will become a sister station to 1030 KDUN Reedsport.

Renaissance Broadcasting sells 1590 KDAV Lubbock, TX to High Plains Radio Network for $8,000.

La Zeta 95.7, Inc. acquires “Variety 106.5” KBVA Bella Vista/Fayetteville, AR from Hendren Communications for $2.2 million. KBVA will become a sister to Regional Mexican “Z95.7” KSEC Bentonville.

Coastlands Radio, Inc sells Christian 91.1 KSGR Portland/Corpus Christi, TX to Calvary Chapel of the Coastlands. The purchase documents with the sale price were not attached to the transfer application.

Tri-City Radio buys Gospel 1000 WDXZ Robertsdale/Mobile, AL from Gulf Coast Broadcasting for $65,000. Taking over the station via a Time Brokerage Agreement, Tri-City has flipped the station to Sports as “1000 The Game“.

Community Radio Partners purchases CHR “RadioMom” 91.1 WIRE-FM Lebanon, IN from Hoosier Broadcasting for $205,000.

Wood River Community YMCA buys transfers Community 89.3 KDPI Ketchum, ID to KDPI Drop-In Radio for $10.

Top O Texas Educational Broadcasting Foundation sells 91.5 KYEH Liberal, KS to Libertad En Cristo Ministries for $15,000.

Translator Sales

Horizon Christian Fellowship sells 97.3 W247CC Moorehead, MN/Fargo, ND to Brooke Ingstad for $75,000. Concurrently, Ingstad applies to relocate the translator into Fargo on 96.9 with 250 watts at 40 meters rebroadcasting her family’s Radio Fargo-Moorhead’s Classic Country “Willie 1660” KQWB West Fargo (Coverage Map).

Horizon Christian Fellowship also sells 100.7 K264BJ Calexico, CA/Mexicali, MX to St. JPII Educational Media for $8,000.

United States CP acquires 98.5 K253AH Colorado Springs from Mountain Community Translators for $10. K253AH will be utilized to rebroadcast United States CP’s 1040 KCBR Colorado Springs.

Radio Assist Ministry trades 96.5 K243BP Casa Grande, AZ to Educational Media Foundation for 92.3 W222CA Saginaw, MI and 106.7 W294BT Killearn/Tallahassee, FL.

Genesee Media buys 97.5 W248BH Gates/Rochester, NY from Mars Hill Broadcasting for $40,000. Genesee will rebroadcast Sports 1590 WASB Brockport.

Renard Communications converts its lease of 94.1 W231CS Elmwood/Syracuse, NY to a purchase from Pathway Community Radio for $36,000. W231CS will continue to program Classic Hits “The Dinosaur” via 105.1 WOLF-HD3.

Murray State University sells the CP for 105.9 W290CR Madisonville, KY to Sound Broadcasters for $25,001. Sound will rebroadcast their 93.9 WKTG Madisonville on the translator.

Family Life Broadcasting purchases 98.7 W254AV Kittaning, PA from He’s Alive, Inc. for $15,000.

J. Ramon Ruvalcaba donates 106.5 W293AZ Elkhart, IN to Laurel Villanueva for no consideration. W293AZ will continue to rebroadcast 93.5 WSBL-LP South Bend.

Alexandra Communications buys 95.3 K237DS Pendleton, OR from Jeff Huffman for $13,750. W237DS will rebroadcast Classic Country “94.5 Hank-FM” via 101.9 KZIU-HD4 Weston.

Vincent Shiflet sells 101.1 K266AJ La Grande, OR to Edgar Eaton for $500. K266AJ will rebroadcast 99.5 KZLY Ione, OR.
