CBS Sports Radio 105.3 WJSJ Fernandina Beach Jacksonville Tony QuartaroneFormer Urban “Kiss 101.7” WJKS Wilmington DE owner Tony Quartarone is returning to radio as his Multimedia Communications is purchasing “CBS Sports 105.3” WJSJ Fernandina Beach/Jacksonville FL from Neal Ardman’s NIA Broadcasting for $1.3 million. Multimedia, held by Quartarone and a group of Delaware based parters, has until August 1 to raise the financing for the purchase.

The Affiliated Media Trust, spinning off the properties formerly held by the bankrupt Graham Newspapers sells a four station cluster located halfway between Abilene and Dallas TX to the James Moser led Palo Pinto Communications for $95,400. The buyer will also be purchasing seven of Graham’s newspapers for an undisclosed amount. The stations involved in the deal are Country “K-Lakes 93.5” KLXK Breckenridge, Classic Rock “Q94.7” KWKQ Graham, Classic Country 1330 KSWA Graham, and AC 1430 KROO Breckenridge.

Alton Tipps acquires Full Service 1340 WCDT/106.9 W295AV Winchester TN from Betty Yarborough’s Franklin County Radio & Broadcasting for $331,150.
