Radio One has announced new market leadership for its newly revamped Dallas cluster currently featuring Hip Hop “97.9 The Beat” KBFB, Hip Hop “K104” KKDA-FM, and Adult R&B “105.7 Smooth R&B” KRNB.
Maurice Potts rises to VP/General Manager for the cluster. Potts has spent fifteen years with the company, most recently serving as General Sales Manager for Radio One Dallas. He commented, “I’m honored to lead Radio One into its next chapter in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. As we bring together these iconic brands, I look forward to leading our talented team as we build on their legacy by creating exceptional experiences, meaningful connections, and innovative opportunities that serve our listeners, partners, and the communities we proudly serve at the highest level. Karl Whittingham rises from Local Sales Manager to Director of Sales. Wittingham spent the past three years at Radio One Dallas after previously holding roles with the company earlier in his career in Cleveland and Cincinnati. He also spent eight years as a Senior Account Executive for Audacy Atlanta.
Kevin Jenkins joins Radio One from Service Broadcasting where he was EVP of National Sales. For Radio One he will take on the Local Sales Manager duties.
