Following their restructuring of their sales departments with many staffers dismissed last week, Clear Channel is launching a new iHeartRadio Networks sales initiative.
iHeartRadio Networks will begin to bring a nationalized approach to local radio sales as Clear Channel will combine local stations, iHeartRadio, the web, syndication, and their programmed satellite radio channels to reach advertisers on one platform.
The unified one-of-a-kind platform will better maximize Clear Channel’s powerful collection of assets, providing the targeted impact marketers need, and what they are accustomed to receiving from television networks.
This new Network offers advertisers’ access to CCM+E’s 40 live radio stations, plus popular digital channels, local website properties, nationally-syndicated programs and satellite radio channels. The network also includes specialized and proprietary options like talent endorsements, organic DJ mentions and product placements, commercial roadblock messaging across the entire network.
“The new unified network has the tremendous capability to give advertisers the massive reach they’d expect from a radio or television network, but with the effective frequency and enhancements not typically available in the network advertising space,” said Darren Davis, President of Clear Channel Networks. “It’s truly the best way for a brand to reach American consumers in a much more affordable way than television networks and with greater ROI.”
Clear Channel is also introducing a range of iHeartRadio Targeted Networks designed to effectively reach specific demographic and psychographic groups – including Country, Hispanic, African-American, Millennial, Women, Men and Holiday. All these targeted networks are designed to give advertisers easier access to Clear Channel’s multiplatform power, reach and scale.
