Rob Meredith’s M&M Broadcasting acquires Southern Gospel “Praise 96.3” WJBZ-FM Seymour/Knoxville, TN from Seymour Communications for $900,000 cash and a $100,000 consulting fee to Doug Hutchins paid $1000 per month for 100 months. M&M owns Classic Country “96.7 Merle-FM” WMYL Halls Crossings/Knoxville.

Santamaria Broadcasting acquires Regional Mexican “La Raza 1400” KMNV St. Paul and 1470 KMNQ Brooklyn Park, MN from Davidson Media for $1.2 Million minus the prorated amounts already paid from their Time Brokerage Agreement.

Lighthouse Radio Group sells Smooth Jazz “105.9 The Wave” KYSJ Coos Bay, OR to John Hunt’s Hunt Broadcasting for $135,000. A November 2014 sale to Post Rock Communications never closed.

JMJ Radio acquires 1490 WAZL Hazleton, PA from GEOS Communications for $30,000. JMJ owns Catholic 750 WQOR Olyphant.

Baroka Broadcasting purchases Hot AC 106.9 WUPM Ironwood, MI and Oldies 1450 WHRY Hurley, WI from Big O Little O, Inc. for $200,000.

Azure Media owner Jhonson Napoleon is transferring his three stations to WJBW LLC for no consideration in a corporate restructuring. Napoleon owns Haitian “Radio Azure” 1000 WJBW Jupiter/West Palm Beach, Urban AC 1390 WFHT Avon Park, and 105.7 WGAY Sugarloaf Key/Key West, FL.

Roscoe Miller is buying out partner Arjan Daryani’s 67% stake in Autaugaville Radio for $600,000. The company owns Urban “The Big Station” 96.7 WKXK Pine Hill/95.7 WKXN Fort Deposit, AL. Miller also serves as morning host at the station.

Trent Coggins is selling his 50% stake in Smalltown Broadcasting to partner Scott Matheson for $100,000. Smalltown owns Sports “1150 The Jock” WJEM/96.1 W241BG Valdosta, “Talk 92.1” WDDQ Adel/1490 WSFB/97.7 W249BI Quitman, GA and “Talk 107.5” WJHC Jasper, FL.

Faith Radio Network acquires Christian 91.3 WBGP Moultrie, GA from Colquitt Community Radio for $14,000. Faith has also filed a Main Studio Waiver request to locate WBGP’s studio at 1070 WFRF Tallahassee, FL.

Translator Sales

Calvary Chapel of Lynchburg sells 88.7 W204AZ Madison Heights, VA to Mel Wheeler Inc. for $95,000. The translator holds a CP to move to 98.5 where it will rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Wheeler’s 99.1 WSLQ Roanoke.

South of Chicago, Byron McGhee’s Halo World Music acquires 103.1 W276BM Park Forest, IL from Calvary Radio Network for $175,000. The contract keeps Calvary’s 89.9 WHLP Hanna, IN listed as the originating station.

iHeartMedia is transferring the Construction Permits for 93.3 W227CI Catlettsburg KY, 98.5 K253CA Eagle River AK, and 100.5 W263CF Meridian MS to Edgewater Broadcasting to satisfy at 2012 agreement that was to have allowed Edgewater to utilize an iHeart owned tower in Prichard, AL that has since been dismantled.

Laurel Villanueva sells 106.5 W293AZ Elkhart IN to WDLW Radio for $20,000. As WDLW owns 1380 WDLW Lorain OH, this sale appears to be a safeguard should the FCC approve a measure to allow stations to move translators up to 250 miles. For now the application lists Progressive Broadcasting Systems’ Christian AC 104.7 WFRN-FM Elkhart as the originating station.

Wendolynn Tellez sells the CPs for 103.7 K279CK Hondo and 104.1 K281CB Orvil TX to Adriana Fernandez’ AF Group for $85,000 to rebroadcast La Promesa Foundation’s Catholic 89.7 KJMA Floresville.

Wallace Christensen acquires the CP for 99.3 K257FP Pipestone MN from Refuge Media Group for $10,000 to rebroadcast Farm/Country 1050 KLOH Pipestone.

Roger Blume sells 98.7 W254BK Holly Hill, SC to Palmetto Media Partners for $35,000.
