DLC Media has flipped Sports “1130 The Fan” WFNF Brazil/99.5 W258BA Terre Haute IN to Adult Standards under new WAMB call letters.
The Terre-Haute Tribune Star reports that the station is using Westwood One’s syndicated Standards feed. Owner Dave Crooks told the newspaper, “The plan is to flank our current light hits station, WFNB 92.7, which has a nice soft adult format. A lot of the songs we’re featuring [on WAMB] are songs that you rarely hear on the radio anymore.” Crooks also stated that the former Sports format had the lowest revenue and was one of the most expensive to program in the company.
