Following the exit of morning host Mia Amor and afternoon host Hoodrat Miguel on Monday, Entercom Classic Hip-Hop “Q102.1” KRBQ San Francisco has brought in former 106.1 KMEL morning host Chuy Gomez to fill the morning slot.
Gomez will be joined by mixer DJ Mind Motion for the 6-10am slot starting Monday, April 9. He most recently hosted afternoons at Univision Rhythmic CHR “Hot 105.7” KVVF/100.7 KVVZ before exiting earlier this year. He is best known for his two decades at KMEL from 1993-2013 before leaving in a round of then Clear Channel layoffs and also spent time at Rhythmic CHR “Wild 107.7” KYLD as part of Mancow Muller’s morning show in the early 90s.
