Cumulus Media Country “101.7 Nash-FM” KAYD Beaumont TX has announced the appointment of Don Brake as Program Director and Morning Host.
Brake joins KAYD from West Virginia Radio Corp’s Country 97.9 WKKW Fairmont/Morgantown WV where he served as midday host and music director. He has also programmed Country 99.9 WFRE Frederick MD, 104.7 WAYZ Hagerstown MD, 98.1 WHWK Binghamton NY during his career.
Cumulus Media announces that it has appointed 26-year radio broadcasting veteran Don Brake as Program Director and Morning On-Air Personality for its Beaumont, TX, Country radio station, KAYD-FM/NASH FM 101.7. Brake debuts this week on NASH FM 101.7’s new morning show, “New NASH Morning Show”. The show will air weekdays from 6am-10am on NASH FM 101.7.
Brake joins Cumulus from WKKQ in Morgantown, WV, where he was Music Director and On-Air Personality, Middays. Prior to that, he was Program Director for WFRE in Frederick, MD, was Program Director for WHWK in Binghamton, NY, and served as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and Morning On-Air Personality for WCAT in Harrisburg, PA. Brake was also Operations Manager of Verstandig Broadcasting’s Hagerstown, MD/Chambersburg, PA, station cluster and served as Program Director of WAYZ.
