As Scripps prepares to close on the sale of its stations in Tucson, Conservative Talk 104.1 KQTH will end its current format today.
Family Life Radio will take over KQTH and following a brief period of silence will return under new KFLT-FM call letters. Those calls had been on FLR’s 88.5 KTUK Tucson until last month. It is expected that Family Life will debut a second brand to split the programming between its three primary signals of 830 KFLT/101.7 K269FV, KTUK, and KQTH.
KQTH currently features a mostly syndicated lineup of Conservative Talkers including Chris Plante, Dave Ramsey, Laura Ingraham, Joe Pags, and Chad Benson. It also features a local morning show hosted by Mike Rapp from 6-8am weekdays.
