Entercom has announced it has made some modifications to its Format Captain roster for 2019.
KGMZ San Francisco Program Director Matt Nahagian joins WFAN New York PD Mark Chernoff in overseeing Entercom’s Sports stations.
101.1 KRTH Los Angeles PD Chris Ebbott takes over the Classic Hits duties from WCBS-FM/WNEW New York’s Jim Ryan.
Jim Ryan, however will join KAMX/KKMJ Austin’s Nikki Nite overseeing the AC format.
KMBZ-FM Kansas City’s Alan Furst supplants Diane Newman of WWL New Orleans overseeing Talk.
WNYL New York’s Michael Kaplan replaces Michael Martin at Alternative.
WINS New York’s Ben Mevorach and KNX Los Angeles’ Ken Charles supplant the retired Steve Butler of KYW Philadelphia at News.
At Country, WYCD Detroit’s Tim Roberts takes the role from KWJJ Portland’s Mike Moore.
The following programmers retain their Format Captain duties:
Michael Martin will continue in his role as Senior Vice President of Programming and Music Initiatives, overseeing all national artist bookings and routing efforts for the company, along with other music industry initiatives coming this year.
