Full Service/Classic Country/Christian 1090 WTSB/101.5 W288DH Selma NC will cease programming at the end of the month as Carl Lamm retires after a 72 year career.
WTSB will be the second of Lamm’s two stations to go dark as Christian 1270 WMPM Smithfield signed off on February 28th due to lack of staffing and being prepared for sale. The two stations are located in the Raleigh-Durham market covering the area southeast of Raleigh.
Lamm began his radio career in 1947 at WCKB Dunn NC and then became part of the ownership of WMPM in 1958. He and his son Mickey purchased WTSB in 2007.
