Equity Communications has flipped Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WEZW Wildwood Crest NJ to a simulcast of Oldies 1340 WMID Atlantic City/1230 WCMC Wildwood.
The new “Classic Oldies WMID” brings the AM duo’s Oldies format to FM in Cape May County NJ. The station focuses on music from the 1950s through 70s. In addition to Oldies, the trimulcast serves as the Atlantic City affiliate for Rush Limbaugh and Philadelphia Phillies baseball.
WEZW was mostly known for being the first station to make the seasonal shift to All-Christmas multiple times this decade. The station was first to make the move in 2011, 2014, and 2017.
