Entercom has appointed Jay Hicks as Program Director of Hip-Hop 95.5 WPGC Morningside MD/Washington DC.
Hicks joins WPGC from Townsquare Media’s “Power 93.7” WBLK Buffalo NY, where he spent the past two years as Brand Manager. He previously programmed WGPR Detroit from 2011-2017 and WQHH Lansing from 2007-2011.
Hicks takes the opening being created by Steve Davis’ upcoming retirement.
Entercom, a leading media and entertainment company and one of the two largest radio broadcasters in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Jay Hicks as Program Director for WPGC 95.5 FM (WPGC-FM), D.C.’s heritage rhythmic hits station, effective September 16.

Hicks joins Entercom from Buffalo where he served as Brand Manager for WBLK-FM and WBUF-FM. Prior to that, he was Program Director for WGPR-FM in Detroit and WQHH-FM in Lansing, MI.
