After Refuge Media Group donated its three stations and thirteen translators to University of Northwestern-St. Paul, its stations have been split between UNW’s two primary programming brands.
Northpine.com reports that eight translators will join the “Faith Radio” Christian Preaching network based at 90.5 KDNI Duluth MN. Those translators are: 89.1 K206DI Mankato, 90.9 K215DU Hutchinson, 91.9 K220BI Grand Marais, 99.1 K256CW Grand Rapids, and 103.3 K277CC Pennock/Willmar MN and 89.5 K208EX Brandon, 105.5 K288EV Brookings, and 105.5 K288GA Sioux Falls SD.
The remainder of the signals will simulcast one of UNW’s Christian AC stations. 102.9 KRFG Nashwauk/Hibbing MN will simulcast “Life 97.3” KDNW Duluth. 89.9 KRGM Marshall MN, 89.5 K208FJ Fairmont MN, 89.9 K210CG Spirit Lake IA, 91.9 K220HY Spencer IA, and 91.9 K220IT Watertown SD will simulcast “Life 96.5” KNWC-FM Sioux Falls SD. 101.9 K270DZ New Ulm MN is paired with 98.5 KTIS-FM Minneapolis.
The final Refuge signal, 89.5 WJRF Duluth is currently silent with UNW SVP/Media Media Jason Sharp telling Northpine that they are still considering options for that station.
