The Entercom owned and Westwood One distributed CBS Sports Radio has revealed its new schedule for 2020.
Damon Amendolara’s “DA Show” will move from the 9am-12pm eastern timeslot to 6am-10am. Amendolara has been with the network since its launch in January 2013 and this will mark his fourth daypart. He originally hosted overnights from 2-6am before moving to 6-10p at the start of 2015. He moved into his now former 9am-12pm slot in April 2017. Prior to joining CBS Sports Radio, Amendolara spent three years hosting nights at “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM Boston, two at 560 WQAM Miami, and four years in mornings at 610 KCSP Kansas City. He has also worked in Rochester NY and Fort Myers during his career.
Amendolara will be joined by Shawn Morash as producer/co-host. Morash served as producer to both Amendolara and WFAN New York’s CMB Show and hosted a weekend show on CBS Sports Radio that will end with the new timeslot.
The Pat McAfee Show will join the CBS Sports Radio lineup in the 10am-12pm timeslot. The former NFL punter debuted his program in September for Westwood One in partnership with the DAZN video streaming service, which aired in place of Amendolara on Cumulus Media’s owned CBS Sports Radio affiliates.
Replacing Bill Reiter’s “Reiter Than You” in the 6-10pm evening timeslot is Zach Gelb. Gelb hosted weekend overnights at the network from March 2018 until this past October when he joined SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio and NFL Radio. He previously served as PD/afternoon host for “920 The Jersey” WNJE Trenton NJ.
The new lineup takes effect on Thursday, January 2. Former morning co-host Marc ‘Moose’ Malusis is moving to WFAN New York as midday co-host, while Peter ‘Taz’ Senerchia has exited. Jim Rome remains in place from 12-3pm eastern followed by Brandon Tierney and Tiki Barber from 3-6pm. Also remaining are Scott Ferrall from 10pm-2am and Amy Lawrence from 2-6am.
