After beginning to operate the station via LMA on Friday ahead of their acquisition, Loud Media has flipped “Good Time Oldies 104.9” WTNQ La Follette/Knoxville TN to Classic Country “Q104.9“.
The new format debuted at midnight following a weekend of running jockless Classic Hits. Positioning as “Tennessee’s Throwback Country”, the flip to Classic Country puts WTNQ in competition with Midwest Communications Classic Country “95.7 Duke-FM” WDKW Maryville and gold leaning Country “96.7 Merle-FM” WMYL Halls Crossroads.
