Eagle Communications is growing its cluster in North Platte NE with the purchase of Classic Country 93.5 KZTL Paxton and Classic Rock “Rock 100” 100.7 KRNP Sutherland from Legacy Communications.
No terms were disclosed as the duo will join an Eagle cluster that includes AC “Mix 97.1” KELN North Platte, Country “Q107.3” KNPQ Hershey, and Classic Hits “FM 98.1” 1410 KOOQ/98.1 K251CP North Platte.
This is to announce that a contract has been signed and an application is being filed with the FCC for the transfer of radio stations KZTL-FM, Paxton, and KRNP-FM, Sutherland, both in Nebraska, from Legacy Communications, LLC to Eagle Communications, Inc.
The Seller, Legacy Communications, Inc., is a Nebraska-based company headed by Alan Usher.
The Buyer, Eagle Communications, Inc., is Kansas-based, employee-owned company headed by Gary Shorman and Kurt David.
KZTL-FM operates at 93.5 MHz, with 100 kW at 753’ HAAT. KRNP-FM operates at 100.7 MHz, with 100 kW at 753’ HAAT.
