Fort Myers Broadcasting AC 96.9 WINK-FM Fort Myers FL has announced the addition of Chuck Knight as Program Director.
Knight most recently served as Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Austin/San Antonio TX and PD of AC “Q101.9” KQXT from March 2019 until January 2020. He previously spent eleven years programming AC “B101” WBEB Philadelphia and served as Director of Programming Operations for Saga Communications Columbus.
Knight joined WINK-FM last month replacing Rick Shockley. Shockley exited after six years to relocate closer to family in Nashville and focus on his voiceover business.
Fort Myers Broadcasting’s WINK-FM has named Chuck Knight as its new Program Director. He arrived last month.

Knight was most recently SVP of Programming for iHeart San Antonio/Austin. Before that he programmed WBEB Philadelphia.
Knight follows Rick Shockley after his successful 6-years as WINK-FM Program Director. Shockley recently relocated to Nashville to focus on his expanding voiceover business and be closer to family.
