Cumulus Media Rock “98.1 The Max” WXMX Millington/Memphis has announced the untimely passing of morning co-host Chris Jarman last night at the age of 50.
Jarman, who co-hosted the “Danni and The Jar” with Dannie Bruns, was a longtime member of the Drake and Zeke morning show at both “Rock 103” WEGR and then WXMX before teaming with Burns in afternoons. The duo moved to mornings earlier this year following the exit of Drake Hall in April.
The cause of Jarman’s death was not released although WMC-TV reports he died in Batesville AR due to the lack of ICU beds in Memphis.
