Johnathan Hutton, Paul Kuharsky and Chad Withrow are exiting Cumulus Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX Gallatin/Nashville TN to join Clay Travis’ Outkick network.
The trio have hosted the “Midday 180” since 2012 and most recently were heard from 9am-1pm. While they haven’t officially announced their future destination, Outkick.com operator Clay Travis told The Tennessean that they will be joining his site for a video/podcast network that will carry live programming from 6am to 7pm starting later this year. Travis said, “Outkick is growing really fast and we now want to have our own effective network. I believe that the days of you sitting down and watching traditional cable are diminishing rapidly. And I think that people are going to seek out voices that they care about and brands that they care about to consume their sports content. During 2021 our plan is to put together a video/podcast network where you can get live programming from Outkick from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. just like you would at an ESPN.”
