The fourth and final day of Nielsen Audio’s PPM releases for the month bring Austin, Raleigh/Durham, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Providence, Norfolk, Jacksonville, Greensboro/Winston-Salem, West Palm Beach, Memphis, and Hartford.

Austin

Waterloo Media Variety Hits “103.5 Bob-FM” KBPA rebounds 8.7 to 9.7. Audacy AC “Majic 95.5” KKMJ rises 6.3 to 7.0. Waterloo News/Talk 590/99.7 KLBJ is off 5.6 to 5.5. iHeartMedia Country 98.1 KVET-FM slips 5.9 to 5.4, while sister “KASE 101” rises 4.9 to 5.1.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop “102.3 The Beat” KPEZ jumps 3.5 to 4.5. Township Media Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” 1490 KJFK debuts in the ratings with a 1.1 share.

Trending down in Austin: Public News/Talk 90.5 KUT-FM (5.6 – 5.3 – 4.7), Waterloo Media Classic Rock 93.7 KLBJ-FM (4.3 to 3.7), Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.7” KLJA (3.5 to 2.2) and Waterloo Media Hot AC “Lucy 93.3” KGSR (2.3 – 2.0 – 1.7).

Raleigh/Durham

Curtis Media has once again been dropped from the public listings, but unlike the Holiday 2022 monthly, has continued to encode their signals for PPM.

Radio One Adult R&B “Foxy 107.1/104.3” WFXC/WFXK slips 10.5 – 9.6 – 9.3. iHeartMedia Conservative Talk “Talk 106.1” WTKK rises 8.0 – 8.3 – 8.8. Public News/Talk 91.5 WUNC-FM rises 7.5 to 8.0. Capitol Broadcasting AC “Mix 101.5” WRAL-FM dips 6.2 to 5.9. iHeartMedia’s combo of Country “B93.9” WNCB (4.5 to 4.0) and Classic Rock 100.7 WRDU (4.4 to 4.0) round out the public top five.

Radio One Hip Hop “K97.5” WQOK trends up 2.8 – 3.1 – 3.9. Capitol Sports “99.9 The Fan” WCMC-FM rises 2.7 – 3.1 – 3.4. iHeartMedia CHR “G105” WDCG gains 2.3 to 3.1.

Indianapolis

Radio One Country “97.1 Hank-FM” WLHK surges up into the lead 5.6 – 5.9 – 8.5 with a huge month-to-month gain. Radio One AC “B105.7” WYXB is down 9.0 to 8.4. Cumulus Classic Hits 104.5 WJJK continues its trend down 10.4 – 9.2 – 7.9 – 6.6. Radio One News/Talk 93.1 WIBC drops 8.1 to 6.4. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Q95” WFBQ jumps up 5.3 to 6.3.

iHeartMedia Classic Alternative “Indy 103.3” WOLT rises 2.3 to 3.1. Cumulus Media Rock “93.9X” WNDX falls 2.7 to 1.9.

Nashville

Midwest AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA comes down from its record high last month 14.7 to 13.3. Co-owned Variety Hits “96.3 Jack-FM” WCJK rises 9.9 to 10.7 as Huff notes that sets a new all-time record high for the facility. Cumulus Classic Country “95.5 Nash Icon” WSM-FM surges up 6.3 – 7.2 – 8.8. Cumulus News/Talk “99.7 WTN” WWTN is off 6.9 to 6.7. iHeartMedia Country “The Big 98” WSIX slides 7.0 – 6.8 – 6.0.

Trending up: Cumulus Adult R&B “92Q” WQQK (3.9 – 4.7 – 4.9), Cromwell Rock “102.9 The Buzz” WBUZ (3.6 – 3.8 – 4.1), and Cumulus’ “103.3 Country” WKDF (3.4 – 3.8 – 4.1).

Cumulus Sports “104.5 The Zone” WGFX is down 4.9 to 4.1. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “101.1 The Beat” WUBT falls 4.6 – 4.1 – 3.0.

Milwaukee

iHeartMedia Conservative Talk 1130 WISN reclaims the Milwaukee lead holding steady at a 9.7 share. Saga Classic Rock “Hometown Rock 96.5” WKLH slips 10.6 to 9.6. Good Karma News/Talk gets a Brewers boost 7.4 to 9.2. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “95.7 Big-FM” WRIT dips 7.8 to 7.6, while Country “FM 106.1” WMIL rises 6.2 to 6.8.

Milwaukee Radio Alliance Alternative “FM 102.1” WLUM rises 3.3 to 3.8, while sister AC “B93.3” WLDB falls 5.0 – 4.5 – 4.2.

iHeart Hip Hop “V100” WKKV drops 4.2 to 31.

Providence

Cumulus AC “Lite 105.1” WWLI maintains its lead down 9.8 to 9.0. Hall’s “Cat Country 98.1” WCTK rises 7.1 to 8.0. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “B101” WWBB rises 6.8 to 7.8 to tie for third with Cumulus CHR “92 Pro-FM” WPRO-FM as it dips 7.9 to 7.8. iHeartMedia Rock 94.1 WHJY is off 7.4 to 7.3.

Hall Classic Hits “Big 101.3” 1450 WNBH slides 2.8 – 1.6 – 1.0.

Norfolk/Virginia Beach

Audacy Adult R&B “95.7 R&B” WVKL is down 10.9 to 9.4. Saga Classic Rock “106.9 The Fox” WAFX slips 8.9 to 8.3. Audacy AC “101.3 2WD” WWDE rises 6.4 to 7.0. Saga Rock “FM 99” WNOR is jumps 5.3 to 6.4. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “103 Jamz” WOWI inches up 5.6 to 5.7.

Sinclair Country “US 106.1” WUSH dips 5.9 to 5.5, while Max Media’s “97.3 The Eagle” WGH-FM slides 5.2 – 3.8 – 3.3.

iHeartMedia Rhythmic AC “Movin 107.7” WMOV-FM trends up 0.8 – 1.3 – 1.6 though sister Classic Hip Hop “92.1 The Beat” WHBT drops 2.5 to 1.5. Audacy Hot AC “94.9 The Point” WPTE falls 3.2 – 2.8 – 2.6.

Jacksonville

iHeartMedia Adult R&B “V101.5” WSOL rises 7.0 – 7.8 – 8.1 to move into a first place tie with Renda AC 96.1 WEJZ (steady at 8.1). Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes that this is WSOL’s first share of the Jacksonville lead since June 2011. Cox Soft AC “Easy 102.9” WEZI and Classic Rock “96.9 The Eagle” WJGL both hold steady at at 7.6 share. iHeartMedia Country 99.1 WQIK slides 9.2 – 8.7 – 7.3.

Cox News/Talk 104.5 WOKV-FM is down 7.0 to 6.1. Cox Hip Hop “Power 106.1” WJGL-HD2 rises 1.1 to 1.7.

Greensboro/Winston-Salem

For the fourth straight month, Audacy Variety Hits “98.7 Simon” WSMW sets a new station record high rising 12.2 – 12.5 – 12.8 – 13.4 over that stretch. Audacy’s Adult R&B 97.1 WQMG follows 10.8 to 10.6 and Country “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW rises 7.6 to 8.1. iHeartMedia Country “Q104.1” WTQR dis 7.3 to 7.1. Dick Broadcasting Classic Rock “Rock 92” WKRR slides 7.9 – 7.1 – 6.5.

iHeartMedia AC “Mix 99.5” WMAG is down 7.1 to 6.4.

Dick Broadcasting CHR 107.5 WKZL trends up 2.2 – 2.8 – 3.6.

West Palm Beach

Hubbard Classic Hits “Sunny 107.9” WEAT continues its Spring surge up 10.4 to 11.8 which Huff notes is the highest non Christmas music share for the “Sunny” brand since it was on 104.3 since Winter 1992 and the 107.9 frequency since Spring 1982. Hubbard Hot AC 97.9 WRMF dips 8.2 to 7.7. iHeartMedia AC “Kool 105.5” WOLL trends up 5.0 – 5.9 – 7.4. Hubbard Adult R&B “X102.3” WMBX yo-yo’s 6.8 – 5.9 – 6.7. iHeartMedia Classic Rock “98.7 The Gator” WKGR is up 4.2 to 4.3.

Hubbard Country 103.1 WIRK slides 5.6 – 4.8 – 4.1. Glades Media Regional Mexican “La Ley 99.5” WLLY is down 4.3 to 3.4.

Hope Media Group Christian AC “Way-FM” 88.1 WAYF rises 2.7 to 3.4. After debuting in the published numbers with a 0.6 share last month, VCMG Live’s “True Oldies” four translators fed by 1470 WWNN and 103.1 WIRK-HD3 rises to a 1.0 share.

Memphis

With Cumulus’ stations no longer listed, iHeartMedia takes the top two spots with Adult R&B “V101” KJMS up 10.1 to 11.0 and Gospel “95.7 Hallelujah-FM” WHAL-FM up 8.1 – 8.7 – 9.1. Audacy AC “104.5 The River” WRVR dips 8.3 to 8.1. iHeartMedia Hip Hop “K97” WHRK jups up 6.5 to 7.9. As it begins its farewell tour, Audacy Hot AC “FM 100” WMC-FM rises 5.4 to 6.1.

Ahead of the domino effects from the sale of 94.1 WLFP and demise of “FM 100“, WLFP trends up 2.9 – 3.1 – 3.5. In its final monthly on 102.7, iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Rock 103” WEGR is up 3.8 to 4.0, while CHR “101.9 Kiss-FM” trended up 0.9 – 1.1 – 1.6. Before flipping from Classic Hits to Hot AC the day after the monthly ended, Flinn Broadcasting’s 107.5 WHBQ-FM dipped 2.2 to 1.9.

Hartford

Audacy AC “Lite 100.5” WRCH retains its lead down 11.7 to 11.0. iHeartMedia Classic Hits “105.9 The River” WHCN jumps up 6.9 to 8.5. Audacy Hot AC 96.5 WTIC-FM slips 9.0 to 7.9. iHeartMedia Country 92.5 WWYZ is off 7.3 to 6.8 and sister CHR “Kiss 95.7” WKSS holds at a 6.1.
