SummitMedia Hip Hop “Hot 104.5” WKHT Knoxville TN has added Christine George as afternoon host.
George joins WKHT from weekends at Midwest Communications AC “Mix 92.9” WJXA Nashville. She previously spent six and a half years at Townsquare Media Hot AC “Mix 95.7” WLHT-FM Grand Rapids MI where she hosted middays and later mornings and served as Townsquare’s national CHR midday host for fifteen markets. George has also worked at WMOM-FM Ludington MI and began her career as an intern and producer at Cumulus Media Hot AC 96.3 WDVD Detroit.
The addition of George completes WKHT’s lineup revamp over the past year. Tino Cochino Radio moved from nights to afternoons to mornings after the exits of Program Director Jean Fremont and the Dex & Barbie T morning show. Joe Dobbins joined as Program Director of WKHT and sister CHR “Star 102.1” WWST in March. ‘Eric B’ remains as APD/midday host and VirtualJock’s Ebony Williams tracks nights.
