With the San Francisco 49ers appearance in the Super Bowl now in the rearview mirror, Results Radio has flipped “XS Sports 96.1” KKXS Shingletown/Redding CA to Oldies utilizing Local Radio Networks’ “Scott Shannon’s True Oldies Channel” this morning.

The station is now branding as “96 KTO” and will change call letters to KYTO.

KKXS had been Sports since 2010 most recently running the CBS Sports Radio netowrk and served as the Redding affiliate for the 49ers and MLB’s San Francisco Giants.

Results Radio LLC announces a format change for KKXS-FM Shingletown-Redding (96.1 FM) effective
today. The station format changes from “XS Sports 96.1” to “96 K-T-O” and Scott Shannon’s True Oldies
Channel distributed by Local Radio Networks. A call letter change to KYTO-FM is pending.

XS Sports 96.1 had been the Redding CA market’s CBS Sports Radio affiliate, as well as affiliate for the SF
Giants and SF 49ers.

Results Radio’s Sr VP of Strategic Development Dave Shakes said: “We’re excited to partner with LRN and

No personnel changes will be made as a consequence of the format change.
