As stations reset following the end of the holiday season, iHeartMedia AC “106.7 Lite-FM” WLTW maintains its lead 14.3 to 7.7. iHeart Classic Rock “Q104.3” WAXQ rises 5.9 to 6.6. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM surges up 4.4 to 6.2. iHeart CHR “Z100” WHTZ gains 4.6 to 5.5. MediaCo Adult R&B 107.5 WBLS is fifth 4.7 to 4.8.

SBS Spanish Tropical “Mega 97.9” WSKQ dips 4.6 to 4.3, but it’s stream rises 0.9 to 1.2. Audacy News 1010 WINS/92.3 WINS-FM rises 3.9 to 4.7. Audacy’s Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW trends down 4.4 – 3.9 – 3.7.

Red Apple Media Conservative Talk 770 WABC trends up 2.8 – 3.0 – 3.5, while iHeartMedia’s 710 WOR is up 1.2 to 1.7.

Not a good monthly for the Hip Hop stations. iHeartMedia’s “Power 105.1” WWPR-FM trends down 2.2 – 1.8 – 1.7. MediaCo’s “Hot 97” WQHT is down 1.9 to 1.6. Audacy Classic Hip Hop “94.7 The Block” WXBK holds at a 1.3 share.

Los Angeles

iHeartMedia AC 103.5 KOST leads down 12.6 to 7.0. Audacy Classic Hits “K-Earth 101” KRTH trends up 5.1 – 5.8 – 6.2. iHeart News/Talk 640 KFI gains 4.6 to 5.5. Audacy Rhythmic AC “94.7 The Wave” KTWV trends back up 3.9 – 4.1 – 5.0. iHeartMedia Hot AC “104.3 My-FM” KBIG is up 4.5 to 4.6.

iHeartMedia Alternative “Alt 98.7” KYSR trends up 2.4 – 2.7 – 3.0. Entravision Spanish Adult Hits “Jose 97.5/107.1” KLYY/KSSC/KSSE jumps up 1.8 to 2.5.

After unsubscribing last month, Meruelo Media’s stations return to the listings. Just like New York, the Hip Hop battle is compressed with iHeartMedia’s “Real 92.3” KRRL holding at a 2.1 share and Meruelo’s “Power 106” KPWR at a 1.7. Meruelo Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY despite no signal in the San Fernando Valley registers a 1.9 share.

Chicago

iHeartMedia Soft AC “93.9 Lite-FM” WLIT leads down 16.0 to 6.9. Audacy News 780 WBBM/105.9 WCFS jumps up 4.9 to 6.2. Hubbard Classic Rock “97.1 The Drive” WDRV is third 5.7 to 5.8. iHeartMedia Adult R&B “V103” WVAZ drops 6.1 to 5.1. Audacy AAA 93.1 WXRT surges up 3.2 to 5.0.

Audacy Sports “670 The Score” WSCR jumps 2.5 to 3.4 (with its stream adding a 0.6). Nexstar Talk 720 WGN rises 2.6 to 3.1. iHeartMedia Rock “Rock 95.5” WCHI-FM trends up 1.7 – 2.0 – 2.4.

iHeartMedia Hip Hop 107.5 WGCI trends up 1.8 – 2.1 – 2.8. Crawford’s competing “Power 92” WPWX is up 1.0 – 1.4 – 1.7.

Hubbard 90s/2000s Hits “The New 100.3” WSHE drops 1.9 to 1.4.

Bonneville AC 96.5 KOIT maintains growth from its Christmas music run as its 14.1 to 8.6 drop keeps it up higher than any pre-Christmas share it had in 2023. Public News/Talk 88.5 KQED-FM trends up 6.6 – 6.9 – 7.9. Audacy News 740 KCBS/106.9 KFRC rises 5.7 to 6.6. Bonneville CHR “99.7 Now” KMVQ jumps 4.7 to 6.2. iHeartMedia Hot AC “Star 101.3” KIOI rises 3.3 to 4.2.

iHeartMedia Classic Hits “103.7 80s Plus” KOSF rises up 2.3 to 3.2. Audacy Alternative “Live 105” KITS trends down 3.8 – 3.5 – 3.1. Univision Regional Mexican “La Raza 93.3” KRZZ gains 1.9 to 2.8.

Dallas/Fort Worth

Cumulus Sports “The Ticket” 1310 KTCK/96.7 KTCK-FM reclaims the DFW market lead up 4.2 to 5.6. Service Broadcasting Adult R&B “105.7 Smooth R&B” KRNB surges up to a second place tie 3.5 – 4.2 – 4.7, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is a tenth off of its record high set in November 2022. Audacy Classic Hits “98.7 The Spot” KSPF rises 4.2 to 4.7. iHeartMedia AC “Star 102.1” KDGE places fourth down 10.3 to 4.5. Univision Regional Mexican “Que Buena 94.1” KLNO rises 3.2 to 4.3.

Cumulus’ “New Country 96.3” KSCS gets its pre-holiday audience back 4.1 – 3.5 – 4.2. Salem Christian AC 94.9 KLTY holds some of its holiday audience 3.1 – 4.6 – 3.8.

With the addition of its simulcast on 93.3, Cumulus News/Talk 820 WBAP rises 2.8 to 3.7. The loss of 90s/2000s Hits “Hot 93.3” KLIF-FM, helps iHeartMedia CHR “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS-FM rises 3.0 to 3.6.

Audacy Regional Mexican “La Grande 107.5” KMVK rises 2.2 to 3.1, while sister “Alt 103.7” KVIL is up 2.5 to 3.1.

Houston/Galveston

iHeartMedia AC “Sunny 99” KODA holds its lead 13.7 to 8.3 up from its pre-holiday 6.8 in November. Hope Media Group Christian AC 89.3 KSBJ is up for the fifth straight month 6.5 to 7.3. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.1” KMJQ rises 5.4 to 6.1. Radio One Country “93Q” KKBQ jumps up 4.2 to 5.8. Audacy Variety Hits “95.7 The Spot” KKHH is up 5.5 to 5.7.

Radio One Classic Rock “107.5/106.9 The Eagle” KGLK/KHPT falls 6.5 to 5.3. iHeartMedia Rock/Alternative “94.5 The Buzz” KTBZ-FM surges 3.4 to 4.9.

Cox AC “B98.5” WSB-FM surges up 4.7 – 6.0 – 7.6, which Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its largest share since Holiday 2011. Cox Classic Rock “97.1 The River” WSRV is up 6.9 to 7.2. Salem Media Group Christian AC “104.7 The Fish” WFSH-FM falls 10.5 to 4.7.

Audacy Sports “92.9 The Game” WZGC trends up 2.8 – 3.5 – 4.2 (with its stream adding 0.8). Dickey Broadcasting’s “680/93.7 The Fan” WCNN rises 1.4 to 2.2.

Cox Adult R&B “Kiss 104.1” WALR-FM drops 5.1 to 4.3.

iHeartMedia Country “94.9 The Bull” WUBL rises 2.7 to 3.2, while Cumulus’ “New Country 101.5” WKHX is down 3.5 to 2.9.

Beasley Media’s duo of Classic Rock 102.9 WMGK (6.5 to 8.2) and Rock 93.3 WMMR (5.7 to 7.5) retake the top two spots. iHeartMedia Adult R&B 105.3 WDAS-FM slides 9.4 – 8.6 – 7.3. Audacy Sports 94.1 WIP rises 5.7 to 7.0 (with its stream up 1.5 to 2.3). Audacy News 1060 KYW/103.9 WPHI is up 4.7 to 6.2.

Audacy AC “B101” WBEB falls to sixth 16.8 to 5.5. Classic Hits “Big 98.1” WOGL ends its four month slide up 2.7 to 3.8, and sister Hot AC “New 96.5” WTDY-FM trends up 2.2 – 2.7 – 3.1.

Radio One R&B Oldies “Classix 107.9” WPPZ trends up 2.1 – 2.6 – 2.9. Audacy Conservative Talk 1210 WPHT is up 1.7 to 2.2 (with its stream holding at a 0.7 share).

iHeartMedia CHR “Q102” WIOQ is down 2.1 to 1.9, which Huff notes is the station’s lowest share since Spring 1979 when it was a precursor to AAA.

Cox Classic Rock 102.3 WBAB/95.3 WHFM reclaims the top spot on Long Island 5.2 to 7.2. Audacy Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM rises 3.6 to 5.8. iHeartMedia CHR “Z100” WHTZ is up 4.4 to 5.1 to tie for third with Connoisseur Media Soft AC “98.3 K-Joy” WKJY as it rises 4.6 to 5.1.
