Nielsen Audio has released Day 2 of its monthly four day sweep of ratings in PPM markets.

Today’s releases include Washington DC, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis, Tampa/St. Petersburg, San Diego, Denver, Baltimore, and St. Louis.

Public News/Talk 88.5 WAMU continues its dominating lead up 11.0 to 11.3. Hubbard News 103.5 WTOP dips 7.9 to 7.8. Howard University Adult R&B 96.3 WHUR inches up 7.5 to 7.6. iHeartMedia AC 97.1 WASH rebounds 5.2 to 5.7. Radio One Adult R&B “Majic 102.3” WMMJ is back up 4.5 to 4.9.

Classical 90.9 WETA-FM slides 5.0 – 4.2 – 4.1. Christian AC 91.9 WGTS gets a 3.3 to 3.8 boost.

iHeartMedia Classic Rock “Big 100.3” WBIG-FM trends up 2.1 – 2.8 – 3.1.

Boston

Beasley Media’s “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM expands its lead 9.1 – 9.7 – 10.1. In a distant second is Beasley’s Classic Hits 105.7 WROR down 6.5 to 6.1. Public News/Talk 90.9 WBUR-FM is down from its record high 6.4 to 5.8. Audacy Hot AC “Mix 104.1” WWBX dips 5.9 to 5.7. Ahead of its morning show change, iHeartMedia Classic Rock 100.7 WZLX jumps up 4.6 to 5.6.

Audacy AC “Magic 106.7” WMJX continues its post-Christmas slide 6.7 – 6.4 – 5.7 – 5.0. Public News/Talk 89.7 WGBH-FM rebounds 4.6 – 3.8 – 4.3. iHeartMedia CHR “Kiss 108” slips 4.4 to 4.0.

Audacy Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM gets a Red Sox bump 3.0 to 3.9.

Beasley Country 102.5 WKLB slides 4.0 – 3.7 – 3.3, while iHeart’s “101.7 The Bull” WBWL drops 2.1 to 1.5. Northeast Broadcasting AAA “92.5 The River” WXRV trends down 2.1 – 1.9 – 1.5.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale

Cox Adult R&B “Hot 105” WHQT rises 8.3 to 9.0 to grow its lead to over two shares. Univision Spanish AC “Amor 107.5” WAMR holds in second 6.7 to 6.8. Audacy AC “101.5 Lite-FM” WLYF is up 6.4 to 6.5. Cox Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ dips 6.0 to 5.9. Public News/Talk 91.3 WLRN-FM moves 5.6 to 5.3.

SBS Salsa “Z92.3” WCMQ-FM gains 3.8 to 4.5.

Audacy Classic Hits “102.7 The Beach” WMXJ trends down 3.8 – 3.6 – 3.3, while iHeart Classic Rock “Big 105.9” WBGG is down 3.2 to 2.6 and Spanish CHR “Tú 94.9” WZTU slides 3.4 – 2.8 – 2.3.

Seattle/Tacoma

For the second straight month, iHeartMedia Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK sets a new station record high as it has trended up 5.8 – 6.4 – 7.9 – 8.2 since the arrival of BJ Shea to its morning show in January. Audacy Country “100.7 The Wolf” KKWF is up 7.4 to 7.5 despite the arrival of two new Country stations. Audacy Rock 99.9 KISW is off 5.6 to 5.4. Hubbard AC “Warm 106.9” KRWM holds at a 4.8 share, while sister CHR “Movin 92.5” KQMV rises 3.9 to 4.5.

Following their April 1 flips to Country, Lotus’ “101.5 Hank-FM” KPLZ is off 2.0 to 1.8, while Hubbard’s resurrected “98.9 The Bull” KPNW-FM nearly doubles its share 0.6 to 1.1.

Classical 98.1 KING-FM trends up 3.5 – 3.8 – 4.2. Audacy Soft AC “94.1 The Sound” KSWD continues its slide 4.8 – 4.3 – 4.0.

Bonneville’s “Seattle Sports 710” KIRO jumps 2.7 to 3.8 with the start of the MLB season.

iHeartMedia CHR “Hits 106.1” KBKS is down 4.3 – 3.8 – 3.6. AAA 90.3 KEXP falls 3.7 to 3.1. Audacy Rhythmic Hot AC “Hot 103.7” KHTP drops 3.7 to 2.7, while sister Alternative “107.7 The End” KNDD is down 3.2 to 2.6.

iHeartMedia AC “99.9 KEZ” KESZ is off from its non-Holiday high of 10.3 last month to 9.2. Hubbard Classic Rock 100.7 KSLX is second 7.0 to 7.1. iHeart Variety Hits “95.5 The Mountain” KYOT continues its surge up 2.7 – 3.5 – 3.9 – 4.7 – 6.0 for what Ratings Expert Chris Huff notes is its largest share since September 2021. Hubbard Rock 97.9 KUPD dips 5.0 to 4.7. Desert Valley Media Oldies “The Wow Factor” 95.1/94.9 KOAI is off 4.9 to 4.6.

Entravison Regional Mexican “La Tricolor 103.5” KLNZ gains 1.6 to 2.6. Chavez Radio Group’s “La Campesina 101.9” 860 KNAI trends up 1.1 – 1.6 – 2.0. Audacy Country 99.5 WYCD continues its upward rise 4.6 – 6.3 – 6.5 – 6.6 – 7.8 to tie for second with iHeartMedia AC 100.3 WNIC as it drops 9.1 to 7.8. Beasley Rock 101.1 WRIF gains 6.1 to 6.5. iHeartMedia CHR “Channel 95.5” WKQI trends down 7.3 – 6.7 – 6.3.

Cumulus Hot AC 96.3 WDVD is up 4.4 to 4.9. iHeartMedia Adult R&B “Mix 92.3” WMXD trends down 6.1 – 5.7 – 5.5.

Audacy News 950 WWJ drops 5.3 to 4.9, but its stream is up 0.4 to 0.6. Cumulus Conservative Talk 760 WJR tumbles 2.5 – 2.3 – 1.7.

Northwestern Media Christian AC 98.5 KTIS-FM drops 10.6 to 8.7 but maintains its Twin Cities lead. iHeartMedia Sports “100.3 K-FAN” KFXN-FM rises 7.1 – 7.4 – 8.0 followed by co-owned Classic Hits “Kool 108” KQQL up 6.7 to 6.9. Hubbard Hot AC “KS 95” KSTP-FM holds at a 6.7 share. iHeart Country “K102” KEEY trends up 5.2 – 5.5 – 6.5.

Public News/Talk 91.1 KNOW-FM falls 7.5 to 6.4 with its stream holding at a 0.8 share.

Cox Hot AC “Magic 94.9” WWRM is up 4.0 to 4.2, but its stream trends up 0.3 – 0.5 – 0.9.

iHeartMedia Country “US 103.5” WFUS falls 6.4 to 4.7, while sister Sports 1250/95.3 WDAE climbs 1.7 – 1.9 – 2.3.
