Stephens Media Group is converting its LMA of AC “Sunny 106.9” KEDG Alexandria LA from Flinn Broadcasting Corporation into an acquisition.
Stephens inherited the LMA of KEDG as part of its 2019 purchase of 37 stations from Mapleton Communications. It will now pay $332,000 to acquire the license and 5.48 acres of real estate hosting the tower. Some of the LMA payments will be credited towards the purchase.
KEDG will officially join a Stephens cluster in Alexandria that includes Country “LA 103.5” KLAA-FM Tioga, Christian AC “104.3 The Bridge” KEZP Bunkie, and Classic Country “105.5 K-Buck” KBKK Ball.
