SmileyAudioMedia Black Talk 1580 KBLA Santa Monica/Los Angeles has announced it is adding new daily shows hosted by Dr. Cornel West and Jesse Jackson Jr.

The new lineup will take effect on Monday, January 6 with “Truth Time” hosted by West and former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner taking the 12pm hour currently featuring “The Millionaire’s Roundtable” with Lynn Richardson. Jackson Jr. will host the 1pm hour, with “A More Perfect Union” with Dr. Nii-Quartelai Quartey moving from 1-2pm to 4-6pm. KBLA will continue to feature “First Things First” with Dominique Diprima from 6-9am, owner Tavis Smiley’s syndicated show from 9am-12pm, and Reach Media’s DL Hughley Show from 2-4pm.

After all the bickering about Black men during the recent presidential campaign, now is the time to pass the mic to more Black men of different generations to facilitate conversations you won’t find anywhere else.
