Townsquare Media AC “107.9 Lite-FM” KXLT Boise Brand Manager and morning host Michelle Heart has joined Connoisseur Media as Program Director and midday host at Soft AC “102.3 The Rose” WXMA Louisville.
Heart has spent the past sixteen years in Boise first at CHR “103.5 Kiss-FM” KSAS-FM including morning co-host, midday host and Assistant Brand Manager from 2010-17. She moved to KXLT in August 2017 as Assistant Brand Manager and morning host and rose to Brand Manager two years later. Prior to arriving in Boise upon graduation from college, Heart held positions in Canton and Youngstown OH.
She succeeds remote programmer Smokey Rivers in leading WXMA. She commented, “From the moment I met the team in Louisville, I knew this was the right fit. I’m so excited to roll up my sleeves and help build The Rose into a brand this community loves.”
Connoisseur Louisville Operations Manager Ben Davis noted, “Michelle has so much talent in so many areas. From her programming and knowledge of the format, to her on-air and social media skills, and her radiant personality, I knew she was a perfect fit for Louisville!”
Heart will also continue to track middays for Townsquare’s AC stations nationally.

Did I read that right? She joins a rival company but gets to track middays on the company she left?
Yep, I think you did read that correctly. But since Townsquare doesn’t have any stations in Louisville, there’s no direct competition.
Is there elsewhere? I didn’t bother to look. I’m sure they’ll carve out embargoes where needed. Or maybe Connoisseur won’t care… her TSM voicetracks are so generic and vanilla (not really much of a choice when you’re feeding dozens of markets), she won’t be a threat to any competing station that has a local jock who actually knows the market and can work local topics into their show.
