After the relaunch of CHR “104.3 Hit-FM” XHTO-FM Juarez MX/El Paso TX as “Mix 92.7” 750 KAMA/92.7 K224FC El Paso at the start of March, Grupo Audiorama has launched its Bilingual Variety Hits “KY” brand on XHTO-FM.
XHTO-FM becomes the sixth market for the brand on Monday, which is pronounced “calle” joining stations in Guadalajara, Magdalena de Kino, Monterrey, Navojoa, and Nogales. The brand features a mix of music in Spanish and English with artists varied to include Benson Boone, Madonna, Rihanna and Aerosmith on the English side to Marc Anthony, Shakira, Bad Bunny and Luis Miguel on the Spanish.
I heard the Monterey version on Friday night. In between the Spanish-language rock acts, there was everything from the Strokes to INXS to Cream.
