Evening host ‘Lil’ Bankhead’ has exited as evening host at Audacy Hip Hop/R&B “V103” WVEE Atlanta.
In a social media post on Friday, Bankhead wrote, “Thanks ATL, 20 plus years On your radio Love yall”. He followed by confirming his exit was a budget cut. Bankhead had joined WVEE in 2021 and took over evenings in August 2022. He previously spent eight years at Hip Hop “Streetz 94.5” WWSZ and held earlier production roles at WVEE and Cox Atlanta.
