After exiting last month as late morning host at Radio One News/Talk 93.1 WIBC-FM, Casey Daniels is joining Saga Communications AC “Z95.1” WQMZ Charlottesville VA as morning host.
Daniels said, “I’m excited to join Z95.1 and Charlottesville Media Group and become part of a team that plays such an important role in the Charlottesville community. Radio is all about connecting with people, and I can’t wait to get on the air, meet our listeners, and help create the energy, entertainment, and local connection that make Z95.1 such a special station. I’m especially grateful to Garrett Klingel, Paul McDaniel, and Lisa for the warm welcome and for this opportunity. I look forward to working with such a talented team and serving our listeners throughout Central Virginia.”

Daniels had co-hosted 9am to 12pm at WIBC from 2022 until May with Rob Kendall until Kendall’s departure in February. Prior to joining WIBC, Daniels held positions including co-hosting mornings at Townsquare Media Classic Hits 98.7 WFGR Grand Rapids MI, Operations Manager for Adams Radio Group Tallahassee FL, Director of Programming and Station Manager for Artistic Media Partners South Bend IN, and on-air at WZPL Indianapolis, WCSX Detroit, and WHZZ Lansing MI. She also spent six years as a host and producer at WSBT-TV South Bend IN.
