After sixteen years at Audacy Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB Las Vegas, Heather Collins departed the station following her show on Friday to focus on her @RaisedInVegas social media brand.
Collins joined KMXB and then sister Alternative “X107.5” KXTE in 2010 as a photographer and then weekend personality before rising to nights and later middays. She took over afternoons at the start of 2022. During her tenure with the company she also tracked middays for other Audacy stations including KALC Denver, WMYX Milwaukee, KRSK-FM Portland, and WTDY-FM Philadelphia. In recent years she has built a personal social media brand @RaisedInVegas that has become successful to the point she told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, “The last year was complicated, and there are parts of my departure that I’m not in a position to discuss right now. Somewhere along the way, it became clear there was no world where RadioHeather and RaisedInVegas could live together anymore.”
KMXB has not yet set plans for the daypart with the station now jockless outside of Mercedes in the Morning.
