810 WEUS Orlando Sold; Will Flip To Sports
MultiCorp International/X-Tend Medical Corporation has agreed to purchase Hot Talk “Big 810” WEUS Orlando and will flip the station to Sports.
The deal will entail an LMA of the station from the current owners Star Over Orlando with the plan to purchase the station within two years. On July 30, the station will flip to Sports as “Rivalz Sports Orlando” WRSO. The plan is to place the radio station’s studios inside a sports bar/restaurant and eventually expand to other markets.
As ESPN Radio and Fox Sports Radio both have affiliates in the market and WEUS already carries some Yahoo Sports Radio programming, we expect that affiliation will remain going forward. WEUS operates with a directional 10kW daytime and 400 watts nighttime.
