Update 7/28: KNRQ made its move to 103.7 at 12am this morning.
The KXPC call letters made the move with 97.9 up to Aloha in the Portland market, which was testing earlier this morning in order to file for its permanent license.
Original Report 7/25: With its 97.9 signal about to be moved into Portland, Cumulus Rock 97.9 KNRQ Eugene, OR will move its programming to 103.7 on Sunday, July 28.
Cumulus acquired 103.7 KXPC-FM Harrisburg, OR from EMF Broadcasting last year to replace the 97.9 facility in its Eugene cluster. When it signs on around midnight on Sunday it will finalize its move to the current 97.9 facility with 100kW at 310 meters. It has already applied to move the KNRQ call letters to 103.7.
KNRQ flied an expedited application to complete its move to Aloha in the Portland market by August 1, which was approved by the FCC on July 19.
