Radio lost one of its greats today as Chicago legend Larry ‘Superjock” Lujack passed away at the age of 73. The former WLS and WCFL star had been battling esophageal cancer.
Rush Limbaugh was quoted in a 1990 NYT story as saying Larry Lujack was "the only person I ever copied." #RIP #Superjock

This is exactly what Larry Lujack had to do in 1976 when WCFL threw in the towel. The sarcasm oozes from this clip: https://t.co/Cd3ZMSuehv

One of a kind … and the only reason I’m sorry I didn’t live in Chicago growing up.
Rest in peace, Supe.
