Winchester Loses Its Cross

Timber Ridge Ministries has shuttered Christian AC “103.3 The Cross” WTCF Wardensville, WV/Winchester, VA after eighteen months on the air.

The station left the following message on its website and Facebook page:

It is with great sadness that as of noon today, Thursday, March 27, 2014, we will be signing off 103.3 The Cross FM.

It has been our privilege to have spent these last 18 months with you ministering and reaching out to our community and sharing the Gospel and good news of Jesus.

Unfortunately do to the lack of funds coming in we are no longer able to support the Ministry of The Cross FM on air.

We will for now be continuing to stream online at

103.3 The Cross WTCF Winchester 90.1 WVRS Southern Gospel Timber Ridge MinistriesWe pray God’s blessings over each and every one of you and may you continue touching those around you for the Kingdom.

WTCF has picked up the Southern Gospel “Southern Light” format that aired on 91.3 WTRM Winchester until that station was sold by Timber Ridge to American Family Association in April 2013. Timber Ridge had been promoting that it would soon be signing on recently acquired 90.1 WVRS Gore, VA to return the Southern Gospel format before making the following statement earlier this week.
