LM Communications has flipped Classic Hits “B92” WBVX Carlisle/Lexington, KY to Classic Rock “Classic Rock 92.1“.
The move pulls the station out of competition with Clear Channel’s Classic Hits “Rewind 105.5” WWRW and towards their Rock 100.1 WKQQ. The station is promising no stopset longer than three minutes and pushing the fact they are locally owned.
WBVX registered a 2.2 share in the Spring 2014 Nielsen Audio ratings behind WWRW’s 2.7 share. WKQQ was third in the market with a 5.4 share.
