Louisville AC "Lite 106.9" WVEZ is already promotion a change to the station on Monday, January 4. Anonymous domain registrations were made for 1069Play.com and Play1069.com, while 1069PlayFM.com has been registered by Brian Eichenberger, Summit's Director of Marketing and Interactive. A similar Play973.com registration was made for Soft AC "Easy 97.3" WEZZ-FM Gardendale/Birmingham AL. Following the end of the Christmas season, Summit's 1320 WENN/100.1 W261BX Birmingham is currently running a loop of CHR/Hot AC currents as "All The Hits 100.1". Is that a decoy to lead into the move of the Easy format to 1320/100.1? Summit already utilizes the Play branding on Hot AC 103.7 WURV Richmond VA. A flip to Hot AC in Louisville would bring WVEZ into direct competition with iHeart's "100.5 MyFM" WLGX and Alpha Media's "102.3 Max-FM" WXMA. Birmingham does not currently have a Hot AC. [/membership]
