Robert Bass on "Clarifications regarding comments on another board from Chris Douglas"

I just want to re-affirm what I already stated in my first post, regarding my encouragement that you all ignore anything Chris Douglas Frazee says about me. A couple of weeks ago, Chris slammed a poster on another message board, and then tried to claim the poster was either me or someone else.

Not only were Chris' comments extremely out of line, they were also misrepresentations and borderline to identity theft. "I" am not a member of that particular board, and the other person (Jim) doesn't participate on any message boards.

I had already asked Chris twice, not to discuss me on message boards. I cautioned him at the time that if he continued to discuss me, that I would file a formal complaint against him. Unfortunately his post from a couple of weeks back is close enough to discussing me based on Chris' attempt at claiming I was the poster that he was bashing.

Chris is about the same age as I am, so he should know better than this. His actions were very childish, and I wish he had thought to call me and talk about any concerns he might have had, as opposed to accusing another message board poster of being me.

Nevertheless, the damage is done and I believe Chris needs to resign from his employment with KEOM. His actions reflect very poorly on the Mesquite Schools.

I'm still checking this place for activity, quite frequently. I too wish we had more activity here. Might help if this site got some good promotion. Just a thought...
A few of us occasionally check these boards, although things have been pretty dead.

However, the "other guys" have been offline for a lot of us (issues with new servers and DNS migration) so maybe things will pick up here.

Wouldn't mind getting things back to life here to provide an alternative forum.

Robert Bass on "Laura Jobe = LIAR!"

Here's a note I sent to Laura Jobe, MISD's Administrative Officer of Communications. She was a key player in screwing me around:

Quote:

Ms. Jobe,

You are a LIAR! The MISD DOES NOT keep communications on a two-way street, as you claimed in the Mesquite News article. If you guys did keep things two-way, then you would have consulted with me for my opinion about the so-called promotion offer. Instead, you FORCED it down my throat, and ignored my complaints about disrespectful treatment. You should resign or be fired!

R

I also cc'd it to Linda Henrie, the Supt. of Schools for the MISD.

I'm posting it here for everyone, especially Mesquite taxpayers, to read.
This is a bit belated, but better late than never.

The main item I need to address, concerns comments made about me on R-Info, by Chris Douglas (DFWPT).

I would advise all of you to disregard everything he wrote about me as well as what he inherited regarding the music database and programming that was under my direction. Chris' posts on these issues are mostly incorrect. Most of his comments are the result of lack of understanding what I was doing programming wise. We were going to cover much of it together, but sadly that never happened.

I have been in touch with him and have asked him to refrain from discussing anything about me, on r-info.

Also, one other item I need to correct, is his claim about the current station manager, Peggy Brooks, not having an agenda against anyone. This is not true. Peggy has a history of poor treatment with co-workers at KEOM. It's not just with me, either. I will not disclose examples of her past, as I believe that to be non-productive. I am no saint myself, but my history with KEOM doesn't have anywhere near the level of unprofessionalism as Peggy's has been.

Peggy is not the sole person responsible for my departure at KEOM. As I mentioned in another thread, it begins with the MISD Administration. To be fair, they didn't just screw around with me, they also did the same with other employees both inside and outside KEOM. Many of those frustrated MISD employees have moved on, due to all that foolishness.

Sadly, both MISD and KEOM are not what they used to be. The current district administration has a few corrupted, selfish, disrespectful and clueless staff members now. It saddens me personally, and disgusts me as a Mesquite taxpayer. I only hope things will improve again for the district, in the not too distant future.

Ah, Fred Hendrickson, my long-time friend and 7 p.m. to midnight personality on oldies (guess I'm not supposed to say that word, habit, sorry) KOMA-FM, 92.5 in Oklahoma City.

Take a trip north up I-35 to Soonerland and listen to one of the nation's great and legendary radio stations -- live and local, the way it should be. The best music ... and personalities. It's a treat!

Never go to bed without hearing Fred.

In addition to a great show, Fred has a fantastic blog at http://www.koma.com. Great stuff! Take a peek and participate.

Oh, Fred, don't worry about sending me a check for the plug. Kent Jones will get the bill.

Hey, don't get me started on Mr. Otto Mation.
