Cumulus Media CHR “Q94” 94.1 KQXY-FM Beaumont TX has promoted APD/MD/afternoon host Tommy ‘Jammer’ Muzzillo to Program Director.

Muzzillo was with KQXY from its flip from AC to CHR in 1993 and has been at his current role since 2010. In between he spent time at multiple record labels working in promotions. He takes the PD role previously held by Brandin Shaw, who recently retired to take a position with the city of Beaumont.

Shaw and co-host Dale Baird also held the morning show duties at KQXY. With their exit the station has added the syndicated Bert Show for mornings.

CUMULUS MEDIA announces that it has appointed Tommy “Jammer” Muzzillo as Program Director for Top 40 radio station KQXY/Q94 in Beaumont, TX. Muzzillo helped launch Q94 in 1993 and was formerly Columbia Records’ Dallas Regional Promotion Manager. He returned to his hometown of Beaumont in 2010, rejoining Q94 as Assistant Program Director/Music Director and Afternoon On-Air Personality under Operations Manager/Program Director Brandin Shaw, who recently retired from radio after a successful 30-year career.
