Steve Clendenin’s Maryland Media One has begun operating Imperial Broadcasting Company’s Classic Hits “WHGM Gold” 1330 WHGM Havre de Grace MD and network of translators across northeast Maryland via LMA with an option to buy.
The station will retain a Full-Service Classic Hits format refocused on the 1960s and 70s. It will also serve as flagship to the company’s Maryland News Network. The station is heard on three translators to cover Harford and Cecil counties northeast of Baltimore: 100.5 W263CQ Chesapeake City, 104.7 W284BE Havre de Grace, and 107.5 W298CG Bel Air.
Maryland Media One owns the SFM Sports network and recently acquired the Pennsylvania based Radio PA news network.
